About Me
After 28 years serving as a Royal Marine, from 1989 through to my retirement in 2017, I found that returning to civilian life presented its own unique set of challenges. I live with Complex PTSD, and like many veterans, the transition away from a life defined by purpose, discipline, and camaraderie has not been a straightforward one.
Rather than fight against that reality, I've leaned into what I know. The values instilled in me by the Royal Marines — integrity, determination, and an unshakeable belief that nothing is impossible — don't leave you when you hang up the uniform. They become who you are.
Working independently, outdoors, and in rural settings has given me the focus and sense of purpose I was looking for. It suits the way I'm built, and it means every customer I work with gets someone who takes real pride in their work, shows up fully committed, and genuinely cares about doing the job right.
I'm a practical, multi-skilled pair of hands equally comfortable tackling large projects or helping with the smaller tasks that life sometimes makes difficult to manage alone. If you need something done properly, I'd be glad to help.
